1. Why do newcomers make NBCC their church home?

NBCC is a warm inclusive environment where people from all walks of life feel welcome and embraced. Many who have walked through our doors say that they can actually feel the presence of God and have experienced an incredible sense of being loved just as they are. The praise and worship is powerful and dynamic. The preaching is inspired, practical and effective, and the fellowship is strong and deep.

2. How is a person made right with God?

By opening your heart to the love of God, the work of the cross, and fully trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

3. What is your position on the authority of Scripture?

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, fully inspired, and able to transform the lives of those who hear, read, study, meditate, and practically apply it.

4. Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven?

Yes. While there may be various manners in which people worship and express their faith in God, ultimately, there is only one way to the Father. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man comes to the Father except by Me.

5. How do I get involved?

There are many ways in which you can get involved. We have approximately 20 volunteer based ministries that welcome and greatly appreciate your interest and participation. Specific information regarding current ministry opportunities is available at the information desk in the lobby.

6. I want to be baptized, whats the first step?

Baptism is a public declaration of ones identification and personal belief in the person and the work of Jesus Christ. Once a person has put their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, one is eligible to be baptized. Special services are held throughout the year for baptismal candidates. Specific information is announced in advance during Sunday Services, through the NBCC bulletin, or posted on the website.

7. How old is your church?

NBCC was founded and pioneered by Pastors Robert Cassara in 1993. We started our first service in a conference room at the Howard Johnson Hotel located in Greenwich CT.

8. Is NBCC associated with other churches?

Yes. Although NBCC is an independent church and does not have a denominational affiliation, we partner with many local and regional congregations and ministries in helping to build and expand the Kingdom of God .

9. How would you describe your worship?

Our worship is contemporary, genuine in expression, exciting and dynamic. The congregation is welcome to lift up their voices in unison with the praise and worship team as we corporately seek the presence of God through sincere adoration.

10. How would you describe the preaching at NBCC?

The preaching is biblically based, dynamic, inspired and relevant for practical application to modern day life. A balanced emphasis is placed on teaching biblical principles as well as encouraging congregants to embark upon their own personal journey of biblically based self-discovery as they grow in their knowledge and relationship with God.

11. Do you have small groups or life groups?

Yes. We believe that, although regular participation in the corporate Sunday Service is invaluable, real community is more easily facilitated in supportive small group settings which allow for deep and transformative relationships to develop. We have numerous small groups that meet regularly throughout the lower Fairfield and Westchester County areas. You may also call the church office or email us during the week for more information.

12. How can I find a life group that would be right for me?

The NBCC Connections kiosk which is located in the lobby is staffed with leaders who are available after each service every Sunday to answer any questions and to help assist in finding the right life group for each individual.
